Terms of Service
These terms cover use of Profluento. They’re written to be read, so they’re short and in plain language, and they say plainly where responsibility sits.
What the service is
Profluento is software. It ranks prospective clients against targeting you set, drafts a first outreach message, and where you connect them, writes that draft into your own mailbox, CRM or calendar.
It produces suggestions. It doesn’t send messages on its own and doesn’t make decisions for you.
What you’re responsible for
- Keeping your account credentials secure.
- The targeting you set and the prospects you choose to pursue.
- Your own regulatory obligations, including anything your firm’s compliance function requires of you.
- Reviewing every draft before it goes out.
Outreach and the people you contact
When you send a message, you’re the sender. For data protection purposes you’re the controller of that communication and of the relationship it starts, which means the rules about unsolicited contact in your jurisdiction are yours to follow, not ours.
You agree to use Profluento for genuine professional outreach, not for bulk unsolicited mail, and to honour any request to stop.
Connected tools
Connecting a mailbox, CRM or calendar grants Profluento access to that tool on your behalf, scoped to what the feature needs. Access lives in your account and you can withdraw it at any time, from the provider, without asking us. Withdrawing one connection doesn’t affect the others.
Those tools are operated by other companies under their own terms. Profluento isn’t affiliated with them and displaying their names describes compatibility only.
Not investment advice
Profluento is a software provider. It isn’t an investment adviser or a broker-dealer, it isn’t registered with the SEC or FINRA, and nothing it produces is investment, legal or tax advice or a recommendation about any security or client relationship.
A score is a ranking signal for a licensed professional to weigh. The judgment stays with you.
Ownership
Profluento owns the software, the scoring method and the site. You own your data, your targeting and the messages you send. Using the service doesn’t transfer either way.
What we don’t promise
The service is provided as is. Scores are estimates from incomplete public information and will sometimes be wrong. We don’t promise that a prospect is reachable, interested, correctly described, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Profluento isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost business or lost profit, and total liability is capped at what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
Ending it
You can stop at any time. We can suspend access for non-payment or for use that breaks these terms. On termination, connected tools are disconnected and your data is deleted on request.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions go to privacy@profluento.dev.
